GPS School Meal Program
Growth Public Schools (GPS) participates in the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program to offer nutritious meals every school day. GPS families will be able to prepay onto their student’s account and view student activity using MealTime—additional information coming soon! You can also review our School Meal Policy.
Students may purchase lunch daily for $3.50 and breakfast for $2.00. Eligible students may receive meals free of charge or at the reduced-price rate of $0.40 for lunch and $0.30 for breakfast. Students are eligible for free or reduced priced school meal benefits based on any one of the following:
• Your total household income and size in the month the application is filled out, or the month before, or
• Your child’s individual status as foster, homeless, migrant, or runaway, or
• Participation in an assistance program by any member of your household
Your US citizenship or immigration status does not affect your eligibility for free or reduced-price benefits. Applications for free and reduced-price meals may be submitted at any time during a school day. Children participating in the federal National School Lunch Program will not be overtly identified by the use of special tokens, special tickets, special serving lines, separate entrances, separate dining areas, or by any other means.
1. REVIEW ELIGIBILITY
All GPS families should review the 2017-18 Federal Income Eligibility Guidelines: Your child(ren) may qualify for free or reduced-price meals if your household income falls at or below Federal Income Eligibility Guidelines.
Have questions? Review the FAQ.
